Can anyone tell me what the correct rear badging is for an E30 M325i. Mine came with just the M badge on the left hand side but all of the others i have seen have M325i on the right side. Mine is a 1989 so was wondering also if the year made a difference as to what badges the car had. Thoughts?

    New Toy

The interior was redone during the restoration. Found out a bit more about the car today when i went to visit. Car is Ex New York and in its original colour. Being ex US the spec's varied so the car has been changed to reflect the UK spec ie dogleg gearbox fitted, cat removed and diff changed. The interior was cloth and torn (pretty standard) so retrimed in Black Leather. Converted using M325i Rack but also the bulk head was exchanged with a right head drive car. Mileage is 100k with total engine / gearbox rebuild. most of the car is new Only 10 days till pick up

Ya i really do. However M325 needs paint and money running a little thin. However EVO 3 suede wheel is on order.....
  12. When i looked into this a few months back i found the same thing. I was looking at staying overseas for the 3 month period and then returning with the car but was told that if the car did not meet frontal impact standards (e30's don't, theres a list of cars on the LTSA website) then it can't be registered in NZ. Only cars that are 20 years old or more can be excluded from front impact and left hand drive restrictions as they are then classed as a classic. People i know who have imported such cars using the 90 day rule did so before the introduction of the frontal impact laws.

Group M3 photo a must. Work prevented me from going south with Roland but he assures me there are photos and vid's to view. Talking with him tomorrow so will get him to forward what he has. I am gunna head down when he picks up the EVO 111 after the mod's. Should be one hell of a road trip.

Looking forward to using the car. I hate the thought of buying cars that will be locked away but at the same time it is unique so warrants care. Sideways on parnell rise ah fond memories of the M325i. Now it bits ready for the paint shop. Gus ya should have come out to puke for a bit of sideways in the E36. Man i have to stop buying cars and get some treatment for my addiction.

    Anyone trading FOREX?

Over the past 5 years returns on the manged fund im in have averaged 14 - 15% per annum. The bulk of the fund is unit trusts, hedging etc but 10% of the fund is used to trade options. Rather high risk but when you factor that only 10% of the total fund is traded the potential loses are minimal. Aside from that main investments remain in property and morgage funds. To anwser the question, would be keen. Always interested in diversifying
