Yeah im mainly just glad I still have it. The wheel is definately hosed - and the control arm / steering arm are totaly sheered and hanging. Not sure if the mount points were ripped yet, still have to get it up on stands to check that out. Fortunately I have a spare white guard and valance, but that kit is looking pretty sick. I also still have my other car which has already sacrificed most of itself for this car, so i'll be stealing more from that. Insurance wont cover because it wasnt parked in the proper offstreet park that they wanted. I could have lied but the park I park in has my other car in it on axel stands...

So my car was stolen during my Birthday party on Saturday night. Was found Sunday, on the side of a back street in Mt Eden, screwed. Maybe I should just buy a honda, jeeze.

Funny you mention that, Andy and I were toying with ideas on where to black it up...And yes, the 4 door will always hold a special place in my heart...and the back of that honda I hit..

Ummm...not an offical one...I can probably write one up sometime. I usualy do lists when i'm complete, then crash the car and start again.

So i'm now content with my car's exterior - i've swapped a few parts around from my other E30, put the suspension on, cleaned it furiously. Now to work on the interior. On the prowl for some nice seats for the 2 door (im sure im not the only one). Or if anyone knows a decent place that recovers seats etc. Just noticed from those shots too my front kit is off it's mounts...upon investigating they're actually shattered. Bummer. Need to get those replaced somehow. Also it's plastered in bimmersport stickers, you just cant see them very well... Anyway, here's the shots from yesterday:

Been running ultimate since December when the final release came out on the MSDN Subscriber website - Very smooth, no issues at all. running it on my laptop which has a Vista sticker on it already.

All sorted - Jammed a tiny screw driver down the hole (bleed valve) and found an ass load of crap down there...once it opened up it started flowing...that combined with the bleed valve on the top of the radiator fixed it proper! It runs cooler than before now...weird! Thanks (again) will!

Oh and I havent yet tried forcing the hose down the smaller radiator pipe and running it that way - it's hot right now, so I thought i'd post.

Well, i searched the forums and found a few people with the same issue as me, but none of their fixes have solved my issue - and before I start replacing anything I thought I would check here. Ok, so i had a leak in a hose at the back of the engine between the firewall and the engine - right where it splits for the heating. It was only a little pipe, 6cm long. It was spraying steam, so once it stopped I was investigating with my hands when it poped - all over me. So after I stopped screaming, I pulled the pipe out and replaced it with the exact same one from my spare parts car, which was in perfect condition. Now, the car overheats within 5 - 10 minutes of driving. Here's what happens: - Both main radiator hoses get hot at operating temp - My heater no longer works - and the pipes running in and out of it are cold constantly. - I opened the bleed valve on the thermastat housing, but nothing comes out, even at operating temperature - The radiator surges up and down constantly, until it starts to get really hot and spits - I tried running the car with the radiator cap off for a while, until the bubbles stopped comming out, but it seems that every time i have tried this after, I just get a whole new set of bubbles (continuous for about 2 - 3 minutes) I dont know if it helps, but the radiator pipe running to the thermastat seems to get progressivly hotter, along and down the pipe from the engine end to the radiator. Any advice would be much appreciated. So frustrating not being able to drive! Thanks

Hey Guys, I have in my control a Black E36 1995 318is Coupe Facelift, with the standard steel rims, lowered, Mtech kit, I think maybe M tech interior? Sun roof, rear mounted battery, AC, ABS, Air Bags etc. etc. Automatic. 100,000 K's Bloody nice condition, really immaculate interior, engine runs really nice, smooth and clean. The problem: It was dereged in Japan and was imported without Dereg papers, thus cannot be registered in NZ. Open to offers on whatever - parts, whole thing, up to you. Pics attached Will be cleaning it and taking better photos by the weekend. It's just really dirty in those photos.
