Hey guys, Due to my partner and I wanting to buy a house I have to sell one of my cars. Unfortunately the BMW is the only one I can get rid off. Its a 1981 E21, Silver, 5Spd manual. Carb M20 engine. Previous owner since 1986, engine is mint, gearbox is mint. They were an older couple and said that the motor and box have all been rebuilt. The body has been re-sprayed but does have some rust coming through. The car has a towbar, The interior is mint for a car of its age. Has a current WOF & Reg.... $1100 Or near offer 021 717 736

Sorry to drag up and old topic, but I wanted to add my 2 Cents... NZ New BMW's all the way!!!! Their is a difference, trust me I work on them. Good luck clocking a modern BMW.. what a misson!!! They have gone out of their way to make this extremely difficult.

Heel toe or right foot big toe - little toe combo works good in some cars with close pedals. I always found big toe little toe worked mint in my E30 because of the silly accelerator pedal design.

Thats criminal bro. Good luck killing a M30, there a tough motor!! I do my 325i every 5000KM, screw the lights!!! Valvoline 15W-40 I do my Starion every 2000KM because it only gets driven hard and its a mitsi so if I dont it will probably blow up! Valvoline 20W-50

Sell it and buy a 330i

If your serious about one, get it checked. They can be a very expensive car if you dont know what to look for come service / warrent time.

Check you power steering fluid level.

True.. so no ones recommending the EBC pads?? So genuine BMW 325i pads are the way to go? Willwoods??? Pfft to that, its a stock M20. Not that powerful If genuine pads work at Pukie im sure they will be sweet at Taupo as I thought Pukie was hard on brakes? Thanks guys, I'll grab some genuine pads on Monday. Its got near new Lucas pads in there at the moment, I suppose their probably rubbish?
