Hey guys, Im the proud new owner of a 540I. Its silver, automatic with throwing star 17" mags. Ill post some picture up later in the week once ive picked it up. So the 323i is up for sale. Can some one tell me the cheapest place to get one of these generously lowered? And also looking for a e34 leather interior aswell does anyone know where to get one? Cheers, Brad

Which of these engines has more potential. The v8 is obviously more powerful having 215bhP? (correct me if im wrong) and i think the m20 has around 175bhp? but which engine has more potential im thinking i have about 2000 for mods on engine alone what sort of power could i hope to achive, I was thinking about doing the 2.7 conversion to the m20 is this very hard to do? cheers any advice would be good.

the 530i is deginatly an v8, i think its the m60 3lt version. I believe that the e34s are a really nice car, and your probably right not a downgrade at all. I would have the hole car to swap from so i could theoritcally swap all the brakes and suspension over aswell. Basically q's i need answering: Is the engine any good, alot of talk on forums in the US seems that they are a rubbish engine because of the sulphar eating away at the nickle cyldiner head. anyways just need to know if they are reliable and not going to cause any major problems for me once it gets into the 200,000km braket. Secondly is dropping the 3.0l into an 518i or 520i body going to be a complete nightmare or a relatively easy transfer in regards to mounting and electronics. Cheers, Brad

Hey guys, Sorry to keep posting questions just need advice on what my plans are for my next car. Im selling the e36 and moving down to a older 5 series (e34) shape. I possibly have acess to a 530i engine done 160,000km but its a good runner plus the automatic box, the car is a write off but has leather aswell. I was thinking of buying an old high KM's 518i or 520i and doing the engine and leather conversion in my old mans panel shop, give the car a nice paint job and have resonably cheap v8 5series and a bit of experience of working first hands on the cars. What sort of troubles is this going to entail. e.g. with the computer systems on the cars its it going to be a straight swap type thing or a major ordeal requiring new link computers etc. I was also thinking to have a manual transmition and lsd diff would be the ultimate set up so what sort of set up would be right for this. Any answers to my questions would be great guys thanks for your help in advance, feel free to volunteer in advance to if you wanna lend you expertise to me for a day to help us out if the project goes under way in a few months. what about the engine and the rest of the car? how good are they once the cars got 200km on the clock

Is the front driveshaft yoke from the 535i 1988 interchangerble with a 530i 1990? And how bullet proof are the 535i manual 1988 as a car if they have high kms

may have something to do with the extra litre and two cylinders... Actually 323i and 328i's are both straight 6's and theres only .3 of a liter between them, so they will sould similar, although the 323i has one 2.5" pipe from the manifold and the 328i has a twin pipe system.

Yeah i will definatley part with the remus i want to put it back to standard for the sale. It sounds mint on the 2.5lt so make me an offer if your keen. Cheers Brad

Hey guys, im keen as to get into some motor racing, i have a 323i e36 and im keen as to get out on the track. How, When and Where can i do this? I havent been on the track before so some advice for begineers would be great too, cheers.

Pirelli P-zero's is what i have on the 328i e46 and you cant get them to slip no matter how hard you push them

only jappa stations, but can be easily band expanded. 6 stacker i was told is alpine im not sure though. am wanting above $250. cheers

I am told that e30 springs fit into a e36 and lower it 2.5" anyone heard this, is it completely b.s.? was told by 'autoline' i think. cheers

Hey guys im thinking of tinting my new e36 myself as i am on a serious budget and i have shite loads of free time. I am told the only way to do it and make it look any good if your an amature is remove the windows if you have enough free time could anyone walk me through how i would take out the windows and the amount of time it will take me, rough estimate, im only talking about the windows that go up and down. the side ones. cheers.

The car will be generously lowered so i dont wanna be concerned with tyre from the wheels not being the the right offset.

Im looking for some 18" or 19" wheels for my bmw e36 sedan 4 door. where in you lots opinion is the cheapest place, or do you know of someone selling some wheels? car arrives in 7 days from japan and i want to get some wheels waiting for it :mosh: any help would be much appriciated
