Was thinking the same thing.Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean? Ah I mean a Toyota?

M325i was the only E30 to come out with a black headliner. Maybe you could find someone wrecking one. Although you could get the carpet/vinyl dye in a spray can from repco/supercheap/mitre 10 etc and remove yours and make it black. I think one or two people have done it on here.

Happy Birthday. I'm back in DTwn in a week, this time with the E30 .
-
Relisted - $400 to a BimmerSport member, if you buy them before the 21st.
-
Any you find will just be painted, easy enough to do yourself.

There's a Mitsubishi Chariot in Greymouth with an E30 kidney grill! Some old dude drives it. Wish I had a camera phone.
-
My mate stroked one to 2.3l and put it in his mirage, 300-400hp at the front wheels . Has similar results.

Hooked up.

Your going to love Uni, there's plenty of feminist groups.

215/45/16. Was thinking of running 205/50's, we were going to fit one just for sh!ts but couldn't really be bothered. Some recent bad news, I'm still waiting on valve guides to come from germany . Going back to Dunedin next weekend, and i dont want to walk . Would ideally like to run the car in for a bit to before i go on a 6 hour drive with minimal cell phone reception lol, but all I can do is wait at the moment. Also got a few other things I'd like to get done, like get my recaro sr2's fitted in. And tidy the exterior up. I'll make a thread, or add to my old one, once i've got it all sorted. 1 hour to go on the auction! I'll offer them on trademe at 500, feel free to PM me an offer.
-
Yea, the auction is about to finish, if no one bids feel free to make an offer. I'm putting tyres on my new wheels tomorrow, 16" tyres aren't cheap , so these need to go.I'm more than happy to drop them off at a depot in chch (if your willing to wait a week). Nope, perfect fitment.

Already been said, but work hard during your holidays and you'll live comfortably whilst you study. Whilst your at home try and cut expenses to bare minimum, and save save save. Try and avoid big purchases (like wheels, and engine rebuilds).
-
Amateur mistake, you should not have stopped drinking. E: I don't like cold pills as they make me drowsy, I just eat well and stay active (kick it's ass!).
-
most likely already seen this. And now I just advertised it to others
-
I personally think if your going to the effort, you should put something in capable of big power. Will be interesting to follow.
-
My car doesn't have traction control, and I still get insurance.
-
Just have it listed with your insurer as a modification, you should always keep them updated. Might take a while to explain it tho
-
Is that an offer? Seriously, don't see why people live in Auckland. Although Greymouth's a hole, if you get with the right crowd and have a few fine days you can't beat it. Do you play any sport?
-
aha, didnt add the 500 for the engine/turbo setup.
-
So let me get this right; $3000 for the whole lot? Wish I hadn't spent so much on the 2.7/taken extra time off during my holiday work. Good luck, hope it goes to a BimmerSport member.
-
Hope he doesn't need new valve guides...going to take 10-14 days for mine to come into the country
-
no, not on an e30. E: conveniently have one in front of me on the coffee table, aw this is a bad sign of E30itis. As you can see, the plastic bits that connect to that hose, they can break easily.

Haven't installed just the cylinder before, but did the whole clutch pedal assembly the other day, I would try avoid taking this off, although it is just 3 bolts. Also when removing the clutch line, use one of them special spanners with an extra side, or you'll strip the bolt; it's tight and in an awkward place. Also watch when removing the reservoir piping not to break any plastic fittings.
