I have taken the sensor off and it's still hitting the fuel rail. How do I take the fuel rail off?

So Im putting my M20 back together finally. And it has been atleast a month since I took everything off it, and I forgot to put the thermostat housing on before the inlet manifold. Now when I try put it (the thermostat housing) on it fouls on the fuel rail. What is the quickest way around this? Really dont want to take the inlet manifold back off, and all the associated parts.
