take the wheel off and have a look could even be the backing plate

i havent read this whole post but i had the same problem, check the actual switch and even the buld within the instrument cluster as this has to be working aswell also check the relay but the switch is important as people dont suspect this

could be that when the guy who did ur coupling dissconnected ur driveshaft he seperated it and didnt re align it as it was before and now it could be un balanced or just that somethings been left loose
