im using roadstone nexen at the moment...a cheap ass korean brand....they seem pretty good so far...car really comment on wear just yet....have a silica compount and v similar tread pattern to the eagle f1's....im liking em so far

haha thanks for the confidence dave! no dont have a motorbike license...but would need something to learn on.....how would a 250cc go...something sensible..can you equate it in car terms? pretty confident in traffic after bike couriering....just keep in mind that everyone else sucks at driving....nothing along the lines of what you described on trademe glenn....any other suggestions? what sorta $$ would i be looking at?

well daves car does the same thing......and his is a 320....but i dont think it would be the ecu...ask ollie if his does it.....didnt you replace your injectors awhile back? i presume with 325 ones.....throttle body sounds likely suspect. if all else fails....get a link!

nah he had 205s on front...i got 215's, full steering lock it rubs a little bit...this is before i get my wheel alignment to reduce toe in (should move them a lil furthur out) and the brakes i have push it out a little furthur....but depending how low you are the fenders shouldnt be a prob...mine used to be! couldnt get fingers between fended and wheel! will update on how i go...i should be able to use full lock...doesnt rub too much at the mo

it sounds likes it from a pre facelift....320 and 323 came in l jet...325 only had motronic...you have motronic...ask graeme about converting....you prob dont want to go round drilling random holes in gearbox

does anyone here know sh*t about motorbikes? im possibly looking at getting one for commuting to uni...i hate the bus and car is just silly at the mo....would prob be looking at something round 250cc (whats that like to learn on...done a lot of bicycle riding, and how quick would it be?) what sorta price would i be looking at paying....what to look for when buying.....as in what sort of bikes are decent...i know sh*t all about them. or does anyone know where they could steer me in the right direction....any advice appreciated!

yeah read about it a bit more.....not easy is it! was just wanting it for emergency situations.....so easy to lock up fronts now..... and its cool...but i spose i will just have to learn to drive!

ive been thinking idly...dangerous i know but hey.....would it be possible to retrofit abs? if you could get the abs control unit, mount it somewhere, then just reroute all the hose into it, and all the ones going to the brakes....it should work? does the unit rely on the ECU to operate? or does it do it all by itself? would be cool
