you will most likely be using one from the m10....pre facelift 318....the 318is has a different engine m42 and the facelift 318 use the m40

agree with lewis...one thing i wish i had done! how long a job is valve adjustment? cos i really need to get mine done...andy has inspired me...not overly keen to spend 7k because i procrastinated getting my valves done!

so abs doesnt like braking properly? interesting....im getting to the point where i can brake all the way from 140 with the front tyres sounding like tread is being ripped off.....rad fun! having driven the mums e34 with abs though...god it stops! but looking at the size of the brake pads its hardly surprising

yeah ditch the e36 ones...they heavy (but oh so comfy) and not as side supportive as the e30 sports ones...they also cost a fair bit to get in unless you doing it yaself.

and do you have any specs for the m44.....like weights and torque? not much i imagine! although it seems a pity if doing an engine swap not to do something decent....and what box could you use with the m44? cos i doubt could find a manual one....but still..cool idea
