yeah....just means a whole lot of extra hassle..might just stick with getting out car into boot and unplugging amp when i stop....

charge light? where that? yeah measure across the batt.....gonna have a look at amp wiring now.....been playing around and the only thing i can think of is the remote cable but that is directly (as far as i can see) wired to the amp from the headunit....even with the faceplate removed the amp is still on...gonna try removing the whole thing and seeing if it turns off....but any suggestions?

my drivers seat (Leather Recaro) seems to have a lean to the left....is this a common prob that has a really dumb easy fix? let me know.....thanks

and before i forget....i was looking at my amp when there are no keys in the ignition....the little light was on.....is this normal? got it disc at the mo to save batt power......

soo....today trying to figure out why my car never starts and ive been having to push....come to these conclusions.... 1) battery was putting out 11.9 V before car runs...12.2 after (going to do overnight test sometime to see if its losing charge) 2) while running putting out 13.5 V looking at haynes battery should be round 12 at rest and between 14-15 V when running....so im pretty sure my alternator is buggered.....and with that the battery would be....sooo i dont spose you can repair alternators? $$ of a new one? $$ of a BMW battery..... ah the fun...got a few more push starts ahead of me

fixed....after playing around with voltmeter.....was the remote cable connection to the amp.....ahh so good...now i can drown out my milo can!

soooo.......much like most of my car.....my music aint working....i have a JVC single cd player going into a lighting audio amp which is plugged into 4 speakers (budget setup i know...came with car) anyway...my prob is this.....the cd player is playing fine....nothing wrong there...but the amp isnt turned on so no music......i thought it was the remote cable (to tell the amp to turn on) but i just replaced it and still nothing....any thoughts? possible my headunit could be buggered? help!

hey man cant help you there except tell you advanti tempests are imitations....but if your doing a full motor build you prob dont mind paying $$ for real ones! got any pics of your car? if your buying ACS, i take it you Might be selling your basketweaves? to ME! no...not me but heaps of people will take them off ya hands

really $50 dyno runs for members? rad....yeah i had a wee drive......haha after stalling twice (noticed you left that bit out andy) feels REALLY good...almost a completely different car....starting to get scary now.....i like it a lot....now for my Motronic->L Jet conversion......

so got a quote for lug BOLTs.....$7.30....each......so thats 16x7.3=$116.80 + GST right

i dont have stock bmw e30 lug nuts....and want some...if any ones got some kicking around they dont really need....hook me up

its ok grant..got my own exhaust..should be on soon....now i only want your steering wheel and lip, and tims lsd...i have practiced the sub 15 min lsd swap..should be sweet....watch out tim

when u say the front valance from bmw being 300 is that the whole thing or just the little clip-on lip? the pre facelift and face lift seem a bit diff....my oil cooler air flow is in the valance itself not near the lip.....car looks looks stupid not having any lip at the mo....facelift e30s on the shore beware.....

i need some exhaust welding done....does anyone know where there is a decent cheapish (or BMWCC disc) welder or exhaust shop round the shore....its not a lot of work.....just really want to get exhaust on now after hearing a stock 325
