thanks got the unit back repaired. there is some instructions disconnect battery before install and check pump earth before reconnection how do i check the pump earth? its a fully enclosed unit :S?

Hi guys, few weeks ago my dsc light came on intermittently and that eventually lead to the abs light coming on and then leading to limp mode (trans fail safe) As I suspected I got this confirmed with bm workshop to be a faulty abs/dsc unit, due to the hefty replacement costs im looking to get this repaired if possible (as i saw this is possible through some research) I searched on these forums for similar problems but the last one i saw was way back in 2008 lol. Is there anyone still around that repair these units? If so can you please let me know of their contact details Thanks in advance

i was drinvng a car (turbo) and it was holding back sortof, i changed fuel grade to 98 and it went aLOT smoother, so i guess there is a difference

what brand , model alarm is that? would be cool to get one like that

btw, by paging i meant monitoring , like if the alarm goes off my alarm remote will beep or somthing like that

nope it stays locked if it was locked from outside, (key) but opens up when locked from inside (pushing the lock down) i guess dynatron is the way to go. Thanks.

any1 know a certain model with the paging (monitoring) feature, can i keep the deadlocking system as well with this certain alarm system? i wouldnt mind unlocking the doors with the key all the time, just like this feature because if the glass was broken there would still be trouble getting into the car to shut alarm off etc .. does the bmw company produce a alarming system??

Hi, i own a bmw e36 316. I am looking for a alarm with all the main features Plus Remote paging system (monitoring) so i know if the alarm is gone off or not at al times when the car is not in sight but no idea which brand/model/price etc. Also i want to keep the current locking system (no idea what its called). When i lock from outside , even if a person is inside they canot unlock it as the lock stays locked down. any help would be great Thanks also a good place for installing tints? Iam tring to put the same ones(replace) beacuse the current ones broken, the only way seems the parcel tray, looked around for ages, underneth is way to small. i think these speakers were changed when i bought them beacuse they are kenwood ones. what are the max sizes that fit in the front and the back? any idea?

Can i pls have some help on how to remove the parcel tray on a e36 316i 1998 I need to dynamat it and put new speakers on, i can see the only way is to remove the parcel tray to get both done. couldnt sleep because of this The headrest wont come out at all so parcel tray is unable to move. any help would be appreciated Thanks
