yea sorry should have stated its for a E30 lol its got like 10 wires aye i've found the acc one for the radio and the computer and the dash lights its got a ground wire do i just ground that anywhere?

I had a dodgey ignition switch, pulled it apart and the bits went everywhere. so just wondering if anyone could shed any light at all on how to make it a push button with a switch for all the ACC. any help would be amazing.

why do you have to take the whole subframe out couldnt you just take the two lower trailing arms? i am doing same thing and just taking the ABS sensor out and it wil be fine. (as i have been told) which im sure is correct.

yea sure was working on it had to swap my drive sharft round was too long and i forced in there lol so i took a half day and went and did the swap to a 318 auto drivesharft.

whats the forward rake? i got real poo suspension got kings compressed another 15mm in back so its 65mm in back and 75mm in the front.

Yea NZ320i you asked me what engine i had on columbo on one of the car nights. thats when i had the two litre. and the other wheels. but got the locker in and ill have skid tires on and ill be doing my car proud. I've seen smoked angel eyes on Ebay and they look so awsome. cost about $600nz and posting.

i got the wheels of trade me work "drift" wheels for $330 then i got them polished and painted. The engine was of a wrecker who im family friends with so he gave me a cheap deal of all the loom and ECU and all the bits i'd need to do the swap. Its a convertible M325i engine, so the battery is in the front. made it a bit easier.

This is my E30 320i engine was crap so i took it out and put a 2.5 manuel. started of standard 2 litre auto then turned 2 litre manuel now its 2.5 manuel. pretty standard looking exceep for wheels. got a bimmersport sticker for it coming soon.

im a muppet and welded my diff cause i have one wheel sliding and burnouts. i had brand new tires on the back and they get eaten. i know a guy that paid $2000 for a LSD what an idiot. and arnt they quite a low byass? so then you have to pull it apart and make it gruntyer (good spelling) if i had the cash i'd love to have a LSD cause my halfsharfts are not liking it. But for the mean time ill just get my dodgy warrents and have the diff in till i learn my lesson. but whats the lesson to be learnt it drives just the same just when doing slow turns it starts to be a dirty H*RE. and of course its free to weld ya diff.

im a muppet i checked some things and all it was ,was three loose spark leads from the distrubutor. going back to its normal self. guess its what happens when your qualified diesel mechanic.

just recently did 325i conversion then later on will be turbo charging it. when i first got it in it really seemed like a weapon in the wet not it just seems really slow like something has shat it self. my friend also has noticed the huge drop in performance rather frustrating! just wondering is this common or does anyone know what the hell this drop in performance is? any help be really appreciated and any info on turbo charging be awsome too cheers.

yea its a brand new flywheel from germany had to get the bloody thing cause of the motronic. its only slipping up the top of the revs and just did open road and in top gear foot flat at 100 just pulls away but not exactly quickly and then starts to smell like clutch.

i just did a 325i conversion and used my 320i clutch. the clutch is slipping hugely. called couple of places and they say that the clutchs are the same which is a bit odd considering the power diff from a 320i and 325i just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a heavy duty 2.5 something that can take alot of dropping and stuff. any help be really appriciated.

i have just converted my 2litre E30 prefacelift into a 2.5. i had to get new box new flywheel from germany been a real bit of a mess really :banghead: . everything in but there is one thing left and im hoping someone knows a bit about it cause i have no idea... on the 2.5 it has a round main harness plug and on my 85 320i it has a square plug. just wondering is it possible to mate them up, could anyone please supply me with a wiring diagram? any help be really appreciated!

just wondering what is law on certification on lowered cars (E30) what is the lowest point? i've been told that if your lowest point goes under 100mm you can get it certified? is this correct? my lowest point on my car is the steering rack of 85mm. then i see cars that have been certified for 45mm lowest point and they have adjustible suspension what is the go with that. any help would be good.

like i want it really firm i can feel it wanting to slip out from under me if you know what i mean. its a whale and im riding it. i want it so i can drive to track day once my engine conversion and other secret stuff done and be able to race round track and have it handling respectible. i dont give two shits how bad it is on road cause its soon to be a weekend car. so far its KYB's or bilsteins what would be better out of the two? Or what about D2 adjusible product code D2-B11? if anyone knows what they like? or should i just buy a honda......?

im guessing king springs are sh*t. i've seen coil over kits just wondering if they are any good? jamex springs how much approximatly do they lower a standard E30? at the moment i have mine 75m lower than standard and 65mm in back and it hanldes sh*t as. gets very bad roll over and extremly bad under steer. want it to carve round corners like nothing.

is it possible to get a coil over for a E30? for all them no it alls how do you make a bmw handle like a race car?
