bmw badge shaving e36

im thinking of shaving the badges on my e36 sedan to make it look sleeker and cleaner. what do you guys think??? maybe just the rear badge? anyone done it??

Not to sure if anyone has done it on a e36 but jermery did it on his e30 and looks rather good. Here some pics from the meet we had last year

yeah im thinking of doin the same thing at the mo also door handles after askin a few people it seems it would be better to weld the holes rather than bog n hardner!

Hi are the badges on the e36 just stuck on with double sided sticky?.Reading in another forum about debadging they used dental floss.Warmed up the area concerned and pull the floss between the badge and the paint work cleaning up any mess afterward. For what it's worth.

turps wipes the adhesive off real easy...... may be bad news fo tha paintwork??? un sho!

I thought the badges had two prongs on them and you prise them out with a screw driver on some news paper!
