bravo 35 Report post Posted June 22, 2007 Progress pics. Will finish sometime in next couple of days when work isn't so manic. Found the donor car cheap as chips with no WOF or Reg and stuffed Auto. Will rebuild in stock form with new Auto for g/f for matching e30's. It will be a 4door auto 320 and will have my current suspension setup for slamming looks. My car will have a more fitting H&R plus bilstein setup. Night 1: Donor car halfway thru stripping Night 2: Strip my car Night 3 (tonight): start reassembly, drilling, fitting etc. Still to do - wash and fit number plate, align LHS front door as it is from the donor car and needs fine tuning, swap mirrors for painted ones, swap boot lids to finish tech II, fit rear guard tech II panels. Then I can start repairing and reassembling the donor car for my g/f - it never ends!!!

jpp 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2007 Real nice. With some cars, the paint can fade ever so slightly over time. Does the donor have any colour matching issues? If not -- you're a luckey bastard and shouldn't complain about the workload.
bravo 35 Report post Posted June 23, 2007 They're not perfect, but only direct sunlight or 1000W halogens can tell. Pretty stoked.

bravo 35 Report post Posted June 28, 2007 I do all my work on a dirt floor. Makes it even more impressive I say - when your digging around on the floor in the dirt for a spring clip for the 10,022nd time... And when you jump in the shower afterward and the water running out of your hair is brown... And when you spill oil and all you have to do is kick dirt over it.
