Fai+H777 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2007 (edited) As some of you know a vehicle I imported was stolen before I was able to take posession of it. I would be greatly appreciative if Bimmersport members could keep a look out for a BMW with the following specs: 2003 BMW 525i M-Sport (It had no markings on the back) Chassis # WBA - DS42060BZ41891 Titanium Silver M-Sport bodykit, M-sport wheels Sunroof Tints on back windows Or even if you see a 5-Series M-sport in Silver. Heres a few pics: More pics here If by any chance you do see one, please try to take the license plate number. Edited July 20, 2007 by Fai+H777
my_e36 43 Report post Posted July 20, 2007 That sucks, but sort of funny... Someone stole your car before it was yours. Will keep an eye out, there's not many 03 5-series Touring to start with.

Fai+H777 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2007 I'm the importer so it was mine, but I hadn't taken posession of it yet (car arrived on boat, went to MAF to get cleaned, then was stolen out of a holding compund). But I have someone to sue if it doesn't show up. The car was stolen from the port in Auckland.

Fai+H777 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2007 Hope you had it insured Dave I may be stupid enough not to insure cars when I have them, but when I import one its always insured.

ACS E46 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2007 Damn. Sorry ti hear I thought the "later model" bimmer's are very hard/nearly impossible to steal? Thats part of the reason why I bought an E46  But I guess they could have jacked it up and towed it.

Thats part of the reason why I bought an E46  But I guess they could have jacked it up and towed it. The keys would of been in it. We had numerous cars stolen from the ports/certifiers. Gutted to hear that.
Fai+H777 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2007 A vehicle matching the description of my car was involved in a pursuit. The driver then jumped out, locked the car, and ran away. The car is now in the police lot. I don't have confirmation yet as to whether it is my car, but the odds are on my side.
liam02 6 Report post Posted July 23, 2007 sorry to hear about the theft. As an importer what would you be selling a car like this for in NZ, i am looking for a car similar.
Fai+H777 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2007 sorry to hear about the theft. As an importer what would you be selling a car like this for in NZ, i am looking for a car similar. High 30's low 40's including all the aftermarket parts I will be adding. Its a very rare vehicle and for that price you can only get a sedan of the same year (without thousands of $'s of add-ons) if your lucky.

They probably thrashed the living sh*t out it too during the pursuit. Bugger.
Fai+H777 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2007 It was my car. I'm having another set of keys sent over from Germany. Thanks everyone.
