Andrew 30 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 So the car didn't make Pukekohe - but it started at 4 in the morning on Saturday! Sounds teh badass. Big thanks to Gavin and Ollie for doing retardedly late nights. Got the car on the dyno yesterday afternoon to begin the tuning - but of course the throttle position sensor buggered out and gave imaginary readings. Very useful. Await new TPS before tuning and running in can begin. Will definately be at Taupo. Some pics: [Crappy phone cam] <- So nice to see motor back in car. It even started first time. <- On the dyno realising the TPS is dead.

CamB 48 Report post Posted July 3, 2008 www.bmw2002.com I'd guess US$20 shipping, and once Jeff Ireland gets around to shipping them they usually take about 1 week to get here.

So $20 + Shipping you mean? Thats $20 a mount right? I need equivelant to my standard mounts but about 20mm higher i think autolign can make custom mounts here in nz too.. CamB 48 Report post Posted July 3, 2008 No have a look at the site - US$45 each, plus shipping (my guess - US$20). Suspension Tech in East Tamaki, Auckland makes mounts I think. Won't be cheap though: http://www.stech.co.nz/
JiB 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2008 If this helps my urethane IE Motor/Trans mounts have just arrived. Took 7 days from the placing of the order to it arriving on my doorstep. Shipping was USD44. Don't forget IE's Admin charges for International orders - USD25.
Andrew 30 Report post Posted July 4, 2008 I'm backkkkk... Need to get in touch with Gavin Bellars and see what we will do with this car. Am weighing up my options. IF the flywheel has broken (which is a possibility, I don't know yet) then I will be back and go racing. If the crankshaft has broken then I may give it up for a while longer. At least another season. Haven't been around much as I've lost faith in BMWs for a while and spending huge amounts of money on a car isn't something I can do anymore, so have to do it carefully. At least I have an E36 daily now - the sentra is gone.
