Strange clunk noise/grumbling noise haha

Hey any help would be great, im gettin a strange clunk noise somewhere under car roughly under drivers seat of my car sometimes when i just start to take of in reverse?? weird, also every now and again when im coasting just under 20ks and i apply the breaks i get a bit of a grumbling sound like the brake pads are worn, but on inspection they dont seem to be to worn.

i havent had this bmw long and so far its one thing after another hahaha but soooo worth it! i love it!

Any help would be awesome. Dont realy want to go out throwing money at it until i know wats wrong.

Check the rubber doughnut at the back of the gearbox. The rubber coupling to the driveshaft.

Check it good and proper cause sometimes you cant tell easily. Take it out is probably best.

If theres any fraying or whatever it needs replacing.

Is it much of a mish to get it out? And you wouldnt know how much for a new one?? Am i going to a bmw specialist or should someone like Repco have one??

Not too hard to get out, bit of a pain.

Dealer or indy workshop, Repco prolly wont have it.

Round a hundy bucks from memory.
