bravo 35 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 (edited) No-one (AFAIK) has the front knuckle bush aftermarket. They all supply the OEM one, so you won't get much better than the dealer anyway. Expensive I know (about $90-100 from memory?) Edited December 7, 2007 by bravo
tibbs.james 1 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 As mine needs doing as well, what is the process for actually replacing this bush i gather it involves unbolting drive shaft and lowering down the gearbox cross member & Possibly removing the engine mount bolts to tilt the engine to gain enough access ? bravo 35 Report post Posted December 9, 2007 Can you do that on the front knuckle joint Gus? Its the same type of bush as on the end of the gear lever. I'd guess you could do it with a press?
Carl 3 Report post Posted December 9, 2007 (edited) The front knuckle is the most likely culprit and while you can do this without dropping the g/box it's a damn site easier with the box off. Is an OEM part. Image doesn't help but at least you can see where it is, it's alittle T bar with c-clips, tricky little bloody things to work with when there's no room.
