m325i 711 Report post Posted June 9, 2004 Caining round waitakere roads, hit a bit of a pot hole, noticed this thing hit my bonnet. when i stopped i realised it was the BMW badge off the front, not the badge itself but the top bit. So all that is left is a crome BMW badge, no colour but all texture if u know what i mean. Went back and actually fount it on the side of the road, but its f*ckd. Know where/ if u can get just the plastic bit? or what about whole badges?

Grant 4 Report post Posted June 9, 2004 How on earth did that fall off? Amazing!! You might find it easier to get a whole new roundel. You should be able to get a decent one from a wrecker ata better price than a new one from a dealer. Cheers
Guest Zwilling Report post Posted June 9, 2004 Hmmmm, least it was the badge and not something more important...quality

Guest Spargo Report post Posted June 11, 2004 FYI: E30 badges are metal, the new ones are plastic!
Grant 4 Report post Posted June 11, 2004 FYI: E30 badges are metal, the new ones are plastic! E30's are just pure quality all round. All you E36'ers should upgrade to an E30 when you get the chance.(right, that should spark a few angry replies )

Grant 4 Report post Posted June 11, 2004 I was talking about real quality, not cosmetics. BTW, I am just sh*t stirring, passing the time before beer o'clock at work. That is a nice looking E36 though.

Viking 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2004 Good point.... I'll have to see exactly what tire he was using... But anyway, what if I wanted to be a poser and put a kit on? Dont worry, I'll stop short of the neons and huge wing :bounce:

Glenn has a 300 hp E30 (seriously dude I don't think you'll make a 400hp one) and his car handles it fine.
