It just fell off...

Recommended Posts

Caining round waitakere roads, hit a bit of a pot hole, noticed this thing hit my bonnet. when i stopped i realised it was the BMW badge off the front, not the badge itself but the top bit. So all that is left is a crome BMW badge, no colour but all texture if u know what i mean.

Went back and actually fount it on the side of the road, but its f*ckd.

Know where/ if u can get just the plastic bit? or what about whole badges?

How on earth did that fall off? Amazing!!

You might find it easier to get a whole new roundel. You should be able to get a decent one from a wrecker ata better price than a new one from a dealer.

Cheers

Did you feel the loss of 20hp?

it should have a better power to weight ratio, you now have the special lightweight edition.

you can have it if you pay for postage, just hope i can find it again .. lol ..

FYI: E30 badges are metal, the new ones are plastic!

E30's are just pure quality all round. All you E36'ers should upgrade to an E30 when you get the chance.

(right, that should spark a few angry replies :D )

I was talking about real quality, not cosmetics.

BTW, I am just sh*t stirring, passing the time before beer o'clock at work.

That is a nice looking E36 though.

Show me a nice aftermarket wide body kit for a E30 (non M3) and I'll be more convinced....

True, but do you have a body kit for your E36???

No but I havent seen a really nice one for a E30, which is why I'm still on the fence between E30/E36 for a project car...

Depends whether you want form over function.

Can I get road legal tires under the stock guards that'll handle 300-400rwhp?

Good point.... I'll have to see exactly what tire he was using...

But anyway, what if I wanted to be a poser and put a kit on?

Dont worry, I'll stop short of the neons and huge wing :bounce:

Reiger widebody kit is Okay.. ish. Glenn has a 300 hp E30 (seriously dude I don't think you'll make a 400hp one) and his car handles it fine.
