Nurburgring Decal

I saw Beau and his lovely 318is with those lovely Nurburgring decals and wanted some of my own. Having searched on Trademe with nothing, he advised me to get them off Ebay. So it happens that the person selling them has all these cocky conditions and sh*t like that with quite a high price considering they are only stickers.

Rather than walking away pissed and empty handed, I though about going making my own. Using some remaining rolls of films, I got cracking, by tracing images of the track and then modifying to my own preferences and then transferring that onto the films and by using hand knife, cutting it out with presicion.

So it took me about than hour to make two...with pretty good results...have a look below...

It would have been impossible to cut the actual track by hand, therefore stylised to thicker lines instead...so much negative comments, might as well take it off....

I agree with those who have said 'nice effort, but not for me'. If you like it then leave it on and revel in your creative dexterity. In my opinion the only people who are going to know what it is, will instantly know its all wrong and will therefore think less of it.

But its not my car, so do what you like.

This place is losing its balls, there was a time long ago when everyone wouldve had their say (for and against), people wouldve fought, PM 's would fly and sticks wouldve been confisgated....I miss those days
