warped brake rotors? sounds like you've covered all the usual suspects. Is it at any speed or over a certain speed range?

If the mags are not hubcentric, that can cause this problem. Measure the hub and compare it with the mag. You might need hubcentric spacers.

When i got the mags i went and bought a set of hub adpaters for them so it shudnt be that. The wobble starts to happen on the motoway at about 110kmph and then it continues after that at lower speeds aswell. And i also changed the steering rack ends a month ago forgot to mention.

the brake rotors were machined all around about a year ago when I did the pads. I got told that the loose feeling could be caused by the front strut mounts. has anyone had that problem?

Define "hub adaptors" hubcentric spacers or adaptors ???

hubcentric spacers i think. They are plastic rings that slide into the centre of the mag and fit snug on the hub of the vehicle.

Have you got spacers on the hubs ??? or just hubcentric rings to locate the wheel on the hub ???

I have spacers on the front.

Thats what your problem will be then. They wont be matched to to the hub & mag. The inside of the spacer must fit the hub correctly and the outside must align the mag correctly. You'll probably find the sizes are different. Your tyre guy should know this.

could be a number of things. wheel bearings, steering column. I think Glenns got it spot on with your rims not being hubcentric.

Doesnt help much with a completely knackered L/H rear tyre. Fairly new too. At least hes on the right track now, new tyre should sort it.

Thanks again Glenn I changed back to the factory rims and tyres and the viabration is completely gone. Its amazing how bad that tyre was considering it was only 8mths old. Thanks again.
