Heresharry 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2008 Hi, I know there not great pieces of German engineering but at the time they were pretty quick... for a ford anyway! These are my two old 1990 and 1989 Escort RS Turbo's....

Heresharry 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2008 Believe it or not my favourite was the grey escort as the black one was more for shows and cruising but the grey RS was my daily runner but it was way way faster.............. T4 hybrid, bored out to 1800cc, remapped ECU by collins (famous for there gunship cossie remap) lets just say torque steer was a daily occurance but i much prefer the luxury and power of my BMW...its just build quality! Thanks Guys, ill get some pictures up of our BMW's this weekend.
Apex 693 Report post Posted May 23, 2008 Cool, there was a nice white one floating around Auckland a few years back. Even made it into NZ Performance Car Magazine . Did it run rear drums
Heresharry 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2008 Yeah they did run rear drums although brembo did a good rear disc conversion for them which was needed if running big power as the brakes wernt the best...and to be honest they only handled well in a straight line!!!!
