wiring harness e34 - e28 conversion

Hi guys

im going to be putting a e34 m30b35 into my e28, and ive read forums re wiring and just wanted to know if anyone has done this,

some people have said the ecu will reach to my gearbox other have said it doesnt.

can any one shed some light on this for me

Make sure you start your jounery by ensuring you have the BMW Electrical Troubleshooting Manual (ETM) for both your car and also for the donor vehicle.

That shows everything for you.

remember it might work in a lhd car , they fit the ecu on the right side.

i have diagrams for both e34 and e28 .
