Silver Fox

E28 Race car.

That's what I'm hoping for, basically something to improve the M30's already impressive torque and power and give a bit more top end. Not intending to go for a high revving thing, the M30's best down low and mid range, so just enhance that a bit I hope.

Now....I like that! Nice sensible a/r on the rear housing! Should go like a stabbed feline.

wholly tiny turbine housings batman....

(Hopefully the MV-R44 can flow enough up the top-end on the 3.5L to not boost-creep on you.)

And on that nice manifold.... would expect a nice big T.HSG

I have absolutely no doubt Steve would have set you up with exactly what you want, just a surprisingly small T.HSG

Very excited to see how things go & the In-Car vidi's to come :D

Does it have a lot of space or did it just fit. It looks good, great effort by the fabricator.

Seems to be enough room, still haven't got the block I'm using in there yet, got to do a rebuild on an E34 3.5 and then bolt it all together and drop it in.

The race car has had a new rear subframe installed, all new bushes etc, also has the dogleg box removed and a std E34 overdrive manual fitted. Had to change the lsd from a 3.45 to a 4.10 to compensate for the gearbox change as well. It's all ready for the last round at Hampton now, then it goes on the market, $18,000 if anyone's interested. It has started and finished all races this year.

I'll start another project thread on the new car with the turbo in the next few weeks as the build starts.

Looking good Dave, could you save some weight by deleting the rear bumper aswell.? Whats the turbo like?
