Recommended Posts

Not yet Jon, but the precedent has been set with Marty's, so hopefully should be ok, but I will ask in writing, got to do it right, eh. :D

Have another E28 at home with a M30 in it, going to strip the exhaust side and get the car to a guy to build the exhaust manifold for the turbo. Will dummy everything up in this car before putting in the race car, easiest that way.

mmm, sounds like another young fella with big HP goals on the block,

better i get a into g before someone tells/shows you all how easy it is :P

will it look something like this?? (just imagine a 70's styled square box with wheels):lol:

That's way too aerodynamic for me, square box is much closer.

Have done the strip on the mock up car, coming up good, may even end up caging it? ;)

By the way, is that your next one Marty? :P

New dyno today, thanks Gavin, you're the man.

Went in with std barn afm, and came out with Miller Maf.

Went in with 188 hp at the rear wheels, and came out with this.

That's 155kw, and 380nm to you Brent.

Gavin seems to think it's falling away at the top due to the log exhaust manifold, needs headers to get it breathing better, but pretty good all the same.

Ooooh very exciting. Well done. Hopefully you have just made it cheaper for me too by giving him a base to work with..

I can give you all the info on how to get to this level Max.

Includes cam regrind, cheap enough,

Miller Maf conversion, cheap again for the gain.

thats nice torque for a 3.5L why is that???

was thinking of one of those millar maf units , but also have another idea that might work .

do you need to go to puke for a testing day soon??

Won't be at Puke till the 18th, got a twilight at Hampton this week and racing on the weekend with the TRS open wheelers.

I think the torque's a factor of the cam regrind, haven't changed anything else.
