bravo 35 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 Go to My Controls>Edit Signature or Click Here Insert some text of a link to your picture inside image tags. Insert anything else you might want to. Click update my signature. There are limits to maximum image size. If your image is too large you will see an error message. use an image editor like photoshop, The Gimp (Free GNU) or irfanview (free) to make your image smaller. If you need somewhere to store your image online try any free image hosting site. I use xs.to

jody 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2011 Are you trying to put a gif in? If you are, please dont. They're a pain in the arse. gif as a last resort, have been trying with jpegs but i cant figure it out and its driving me bananas so ive put it in the too hard basket. have placed a jpeg on xs.to then copy the link and paste it into the insert image under manage signature and nothing, only text, have added .jpeg as an extension, no extension, .gif and nothing seems to work ... must be an operator error

polley 916 Report post Posted September 21, 2011 (edited) The host you are using to host your image does not support it (does not allow to to link directly to the image). add this to your signature and it should work: [IMG]http://i51.tinypic.com/24mghi1.jpg[/IMG] Edited September 21, 2011 by polley

jody 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2011 Or create a gallery and upload direct from your computer. sorry tony, create a gallery - where do you mean ? it wont let me upload an image off my pc, it asks for a url ? still having a few 'technical' issues ....... polley 916 Report post Posted September 21, 2011 Just copy paste what is inside the code box into your signature... and it will work. [IMG]http://i51.tinypic.com/24mghi1.jpg[/IMG] How your sig is now is close, remove the code tag at the front. and the IMG closing tag needs a / in it to close it. But your image link is dead anyway.
