Car Boot Rattel

Got a couple of 12" subs in the boot but got a bit of a rattel when they are turned up a bit. Ive got foam under the plate ect but what else can I do and where else should I foam up to stop it. And no i dont really wana turn it down.

You serious???? You have 2 x 12" subs in you car and dont want it to rattle? Maybe your best bet is to get an army tank???

You could Dynamat (sound insulation) the entire boot.... but you'll still have the bootlid rattling on it's hinges, not really any way to stop that!

Its simple. Find the rattle.. and stop it??

If its on the exterior, you need to make the bits rattling heavier to stop them vibrating as much, if its inside the car, foam that bitch up.

Dynamat is your friend as mentioned before. On your wheel wells, in the boot, the boot lid. More the boot lid to stop flex, not rattle.

Listen for the rattle, let me know where its rattling, and i can provide some options.

ive seen expanding filler foam used used in the cavitys to stop body rattle, or you could turn it up more so you cant hear the rattle

Pull the tail lights out and check the rear transum. It will be the plate metal in there... it is in most cars.

2 x 12s is a good option. try fitting 15s in a e36 lol

im sure uve got the same problem as me. took me ages to figure out where rattle was. it was my trunk lock release button, open up the numberplate light unit and ull see a bare trunk lock release button, jam something around it. It was numberplate surround too.
