The rego means nothing unfortunately. I could register my touring as a B10 and no-one would bat an eyelid. You fill in the form and the people keying it in do just that, key in what youve written.

Was PISH the plate that was on the M5 gear in the green 520 body ?

Yea I always thought an Alpina would only use sport seats and be manual. Still a very nice car and would proberbly fool most people but not for 17k

I believe they still made B10's as an auto, so it could well be the real thing. But at that price I would expect a manual box and electric recaro seats thats all.

I'm pretty sure that B10(genuine) was owned by Hi-Velocity (Gavin), others here will know the car.He sold it to this chap, Brent would probably know.

The spec depended on which 535i was used for the conversion, i.e. std 535ia/ 535i manual or the 535i sport etc etc.

I've seen this car in the flesh - several years ago.

My good mate bought this guy's 635csi which was also mint and had the plate "P1SH". He had both for sale on TM at the time - this one for approx $25K I believe.

To the then casual observer the car did seem a genuine alpina and it is/was in showroom condition. No expense was spared and I believed he had them both serviced by Guido.

looks to be a uk car that was converted .

a bit like mine, but mine was kitted in japan ,front and rear spoliers ,wheels , steering wheel ,badges and pin stripes (with no engine mods though)

but have since done a manual conversion on it.
