briancol 3 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 I log into Bimmersport then go to say the forum, and I get asked to log in again, when I do this it takes so long to occur that I end up having to keep logging on. This is only occurring on my work computer which is running Whoosh which I know is a lot slower than normal broadband. So all you computer whizz kids, how do I overcome this? QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 I've had this problem for ages, clearing cache and cookies does nothing, it happened on the old Firefox and on the new one, I just have to log in twice and then its fine, but it NEVER remembers me the next time. Andrew 30 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 No software updates for the forum (yet) - it may be a bug with this version.

That could be the common thing - are we all using two computers to log in? I am and have the issue.

I use several computers to log in and each time I swicth from one to the other I have to log in again. Ive been doing it for ages and just accepted it was because I was using more than one machine. martyyn 2 Report post Posted September 16, 2008 It looks to me like Brian is having a different problem to the rest of us. I have no trouble when I log in other than having to click a few buttons. Speed has never been an issue

QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2008 Yeah once I log in the second time it seems to stick, I very seldom use a second computer as the one at work is pathetically slow.

Ive been doing it for ages and just accepted it was because I was using more than one machine. The cookies are set that way for security reasons. I just cleared my cookies and it fixed my problem. However - I find if you log in from the home page in the upper right log in dialogue you have the login issue. If you log in off the forum page then there is no issue. tire 10 Report post Posted September 17, 2008 (edited) I might also add that the blog is a bit weird. There is a cluster of overlapping things up the top left and the text is grey on black background which makes it impossible to read.
