e30 Front Bilstein Sport dampers/shocks

Recommended Posts

Have been on the testing machine at Suspension Tech and found to be fine (no leaks etc). Rebound rate slightly less than factory (to be expected).

Perfect for that lowered setup, or if your old shocks are worn and you want to replace them with a cheaper, and better set.

Reason for sale - I want a much(much) stiffer shock so had new custom ones installed.

$130 (Price drop)

Will be at the Anzac cruise if you want to have a look and save on postage.

How stiff are they in relation to the stock MS shocks? Also are they shorter than MS shocks?

They are stock MS Bilstein Sport shocks, so will be slightly softer than brand new Bilstein Sports.

Havn't been shortened, but have had the bumpstops shortened for more travel on a lower setup so you don't get as much of the harshness you get when they bottom out on standard travel.

Reasonable price IMO. Would be fine with H&R's - that's what I had with them.

Ring Chris at Suspension Tech (friend of Keith's). Say you're from BS and you bought your springs from Keith and he'll look after you.

If you mention that the shocks are from Graham from the Bay of Islands, he should remember me and should have the figures from when he tested them.

I don't have the rears for sale as I am still using them - I had them custom re-valved (changed the stiffness etc) by Chris.

Bump - price drop for Anzac Cruise - $130.

These were sold at $150 to Andrew (sin-drome), but he gave me the run around after I had them delivered to Auckland for him AT MY COST and now is too spineless to reply to my PM's.

Great deal, and you can see before you buy.

I'm sick of them cluttering up my garage.
