728i good and bad things?

was thinking of getting one of these not yet though maybe middle of next year

i like the big look and would obviously has more power than my 520

anyone no if these and hard on gas , i dont think i could afford to run a 540 or 740 at this stage any tips just curious might change my mind from now till then haha

they have lots more electronic gizmos and can be quite costly to maintain when parts start failing.

if you have issues buying a new radiator for the e34, i'd stay away from one!

540 mmmm ..mums got a e38 740 and it can be guzzlyy...what year is it any way ?

i have to sell mine first so looking at ideas and definitly a bigger engine

I wouldn’t think there would be too much between them TBH, the 728i has lots of weight and very little power so you would need to keep on the gas a lot longer.

Just my thoughts.

yes e34 so mucher cheaper to maintain . and yes 540i goes very well ,and not to bad on gas .

ask the guys here that drive them
