Would think the E36 should cost more in theory having to pump the fluid into the sump. Guess alot of the cost comes down to what the hourly labour charge is. Done correctly the EGS should also be cleared of any fault codes if they are present. It may not take the full 8 litres of oil as it is not a trans rebuild job. I would estimate 1-1.5 hrs labour to do the job properly with a road test as well.
