Hi-Tek 3 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 Well spotted Nik, it's a shame that RHD conversion were all the rage in the late '80s/ early '90s
bmw.maniac 1 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 The odo is all over the place... Nah, it's just t.he blind warrant inspectors who add a 1 in front of the 7. Carjam Wow, the owner made a real attempt to block out the number plate, didn't he?
Apex 693 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 The odo is all over the place... Needs some mods but looks good. These cars have gone up in value big time!!
bravo 35 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 (edited) What does he want for it? If start is not too far from reserve, thats about where prices have been for the last 4 years (with the exception of the sh*t-quality or un-registerable examples from TWR). Also, I'm not worried about the RHD conversions as long as they were done properly. LHD cars are a pain to drive on nz roads, and if it means the price is a touch less due to lack of originality, thats a good thing also. You still have one hell of a badass e30 - who cares if the wheel has changed sides? Edited November 5, 2008 by bravo
oldskool 4 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 Hmmmmmmmm, Not a shame it has been converted if it has been done properly, which no doubt it would have been given the value of the car at the time..................given the alternative of being a LHD that can't be registered without a whole lot of hullabuloo, I would say not a bad option if it can be secured for the right money............ Doug........you could have twins !!
JiB 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2008 Man, that interior sucks for a car of its ilk. Would still rock it though, needs EvoIII lip/diffuser and some LM's. Then you'd have to get big brakes to fill the LM's, then you'd have to get a tickled 2.5 S14 to backup the big brakes. Then you'd have to sort the suspension....then you'd probably be short an arm, a leg and a kidney. Anyone got spare $100,000?

Yep, would need all that and yes you would end up a multiple amputee just siting there in your cardboard box looking it! Would be nice though.
M3 Cab 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 Bloody nice car but would have rather had the EVO 2 that sold recently with the same mileage. Def needs some mods it looks a little to tame

E30 325i Rag-Top 2957 Report post Posted November 7, 2008 I wanted to see whereabouts the reserve was, as the $39,000 was only the starting price. Been keeping an eye on the prices for E30 M3s for a while and comparing with what similar cars are going for in the UK. If the right car comes along at the right price, the moths might be tempted out of the old wallet.

At $41k now and within 15% of reserve so possibly $45 - $47k would take it away, purhaps a smige less if it doesnt meet reserve. mr E34 11 Report post Posted November 8, 2008 The big plus is that its been here all it's life (legal & R/H), colour is ok, not leather unfortunately, prefer Hi-Teks colour...but the ultimate E30 M3 is still the last batch of Evo Sport (2.5ltr) so you wouldn't want to change that car to R/H. To release some of the engines potential they need carbon intake, no AF meter & custom remap.
bravo 35 Report post Posted November 9, 2008 (edited) These cars have gone up in value big time!! Well if reserve is less than $50k, then I was right in thinking prices havn't changed for at least 4 years. (Seeing as its a nz-new evo). E30 325i Rag-Top 2957 Report post Posted November 30, 2008 The guy pulled the add as there was a question over whether it was an Evo1 or a "standard" M3. He said he didn't want to mis-lead anyone and would re-list the car when it was all cleared up. Two down, one to go.....
