I would say no more than $150 for a run, check fueling etc from memory, I could did up my receipts if you're desperate.

I think Gavin at Hi- Velocity is the man to see regardless of where you live in Auckland.

A bit less than that I think, unless you want him to start tweaking it. BTW, it's worth it for him to tweak it for extra hp.

ok cheers for the info, I will try stinge a $100 outta my dad as Im a bit short of cash at the moment, then I'll post my results and hopefully some of the e30 guys will tell me how far i am off the pace, i don't expect to be that close as the engine has done 300k but it doesn't smoke and and has got awsum acceleration past 4000 revs but dead from 1-3k.

$75 an hour when I was there on Thursday. He made a good gain on my E30 320.

just did my e34 535i there this morning , gavin's a great guy .

was dropping off some parts there so though i might as well do a run or too. with some different ecu's i had.

not a bad result from a stock engine with 72,000km

a bit less than my hartge built up engine i had with higher compression and hartge ported/valved head etc

it got 133kw and 315Nm..

Ok got the dyno done, 97.7Hp @ 5300 rpm and 135 torque @ 3900

gained 3hp by tuning as timing was to advanced and it was running rich

edit- engine done 300k and is an 83', not too bad really

About right for a Pre F/L... Mel Clark had 98.5BHP and he won the championship !!!

Actually looking at the chart again, i would say pretty good figures. Mine does not reach Max power until it hits the limiter at 6200, having max power a little down the rev range at 5 to 5 and half would make it pretty user friendly on the track. Good Luck

i dunno the details ay, my girlfriend took it in as i was working :( she said it was there for an hour, and in that hour he put it on the dyno and got 3hp from retarding the timing and stopping it running rich.

sounds a bit nicer than b4 :)

che had a mission getting it back tho because the steering broke on the way there ( the rubber joint between the power steering and firewall)
