Fine, i'll give up my recipe.

2) find car

3) turn car on

4) drive to supermarket/dairy

5) purchase chocolate cookies

6) drive home

7) indulge in chocolate cookies (or as soon as you've purchased them)

8) if still craving cookies, repeat steps 1-7

I only said it because I think everyone has exhausted that topic and it anly starts arguments. The OP was a good read though.

Anyway since I am being blamed for starting this I thought I would share a great, easy BBQ steak marinade for all the BBQ boys.

I-2 KG of prime rump steak (1" thick at least)

1 cup of watties tomatoe sauce

1 cup of worshestersire sauce (I make my own)

1/4 cup of garlic & chilli sauce

2 large lemons (squeesed) juice only

4 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)

I large spanish onion (finely chopped)

1/4 teaspoon of salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 level teaspoon of baking soda

I use rump steak at least an inch thick...dont use thin steak for this

Combine all ingredients (not the steak) in a solid plastic bag except the baking soda, mix and make sure you have your steak all ready to go into the bag. Add the baking soda, give it a quick stir, add the steak, seal the bag and shake or roll the bag to distribute the marinade. The baking soda foams up and makes the marinade work and the lemon juice tenderises the steak. Leave in the fridge for 3-4 hrs. Give it a shake or roll about every hour or so.

Take out the steak and wipe the bits of garlic & onion off with a knife..... BBQ to your liking.... ENJOY

Lion Red....goes with everything

When I think Lion Red I think 1980's, stubbies and black singlet hanging off the banister at the local pub grunting and whistling, then going home to play Once Were Warriors, lol!!

As for tea, Bell does it everytime!
