ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted February 22, 2009 (edited) Thinking about showing my parents this. Anyone have any clue how much it would be to fix up?? Would it be worth it?? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/W...n-204108213.htm WILL BE SOLD DE-REGISTERED Would think the place where the impact has happened would be quite hard to repair and the chassis is probably bent. Good for a V8 and some leather to stick into your car but i wouldn't bother with a repair.. You could even stick the wheels on you car!!!! the Chassis is bent. Don't buy it Bet me to it lol Edited February 22, 2009 by ED1RTY

So if a car has a bent chassis it's stuffed? Isn't it fixable? Edited February 23, 2009 by lady525
pjay 8 Report post Posted February 23, 2009 It is fixable yes, but It will never be the same. Its like when you break a bone in your body. It only really ever heals to 80% strength.

Avenged.SSE 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2009 Looks pretty good for parts: + Sat Nav + Wheels + Leather + Multifunction steering wheel + Car phone + Possibly tyres + Clear Angel eyes/tailights all of that would be damn near $4.5k anyway!
pjay 8 Report post Posted February 23, 2009 Sigh. No. It just wont be perfect. It will drive ok Eg I bent the chassis rail of my Levin. And I sold it a month after fixing it, because I just knew it wasn't perfect. Felt and drove fine.. But I.. just.. Knew. You know?
