mostly 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2009 Help please....the oil light comes on to the yellow stage only and then goes off......I'm told it's the sensor and to leave it until the next service....this some time away and I figure it can't be too hard to do myself....can get the part for $40 odd.....problem is where is it located and is it a mission?? *Glenn* 854 Report post Posted February 27, 2009 Its the oil level sensor in the sump and yes its a $400-500 job. Leave it till your next service if you want when the oil needs to be drained.
