E30, knocking from LH rear while going around corner - CV?

Definite knock coming out of my 1985 E30 M323i's ass end, Im assuming it'll be the CV?

Does this make sense? Any idea what the damage to my bank account will be for parts?

More info? Whilst going round corners? Whilst accelerating? All the time? Intermittent? etc... Could simply be a loose suspension component? Loose diff bushing? The ass end of a car has alot of components. My busted CV's have always made more of a clicking sound.

Yup while accelerating, it seems to be more pronounced in a RH turn. I originally thought it might be the exhaust hitting something, but i good wiggle has proved it to be pretty secure.

It could also be worn swaybar links.

Check centre bearing hanger as well?

it sounds like a problem ive been having. Does it happen quite rarely and mainly when you are accelerating into a corner?
