where can I get a new gas strut to hold up the bonnet on my E30 as the current one needs a serious dose of viagra.

Also, how much would I expect to pay for it?

go down to a hardware shop and buy a broom stick, that should do the job

40 bucks is what i spent on a regas job.

call stocks they are the wholesalers of suspension parts, they sell to all the workshops.

they also stock those! pay by card get it couriered. wholesale price very cheap guessing. also not bmw rip off price. give em ya vin number or car details and they should find one that fits. or call steve at wairau suspension he can usually do just as good of a deal.

There are several company's round that re-gas these struts, if you wan't their name/s, I'll find one.

did some ringing around myself and found a place in west Auckland that sells them for $56 incl. GST. 0800 STRUTS
