htra024 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 Hi, Just wonder what are the maximun and minimun offsets can be fitted E46 Coupe? Thanks Kelvin.
zenetti 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2009 you will have to be more specific than that. The offset range really depends on the width of the wheel. As a general rule though +35 - +45 will work.

*Glenn* 855 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 (edited) You can fit anything with some guard work and 6 - 10 degrees negative camber Peter..most people dont want to screw around with their cars and create issues for themselves. I know Kelvin the OP and I dont think this is something he wants to do to his nice, tidy E46. There is a minority that would want to do this kind of thing and I'd think they would ask. Kelvin the OP is asking so he knows what to look for or ask for when buying new wheels for his car. Edited March 27, 2009 by *Glenn*

JiB 2 Report post Posted March 27, 2009 +35 - +45 will work. Would this also apply to 16x8's with 225/50R16 rubber on a E46 sedan? What would be ideal offset (not max-min)? Not worried about looks - just need wheels to make the rubber sit better. (sorry for hijack)
westy 614 Report post Posted March 28, 2009 They are the general offset numbers for 8" wide wheels.

However, soon that I have my new wheels then would sale the ones. If you interest, I would keep in mind your offer.
