mattgoldsbro 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2009 Hi any help would be much appreciated, I have noticed lately that when i come to a stop at the lights/intersections etc . My car will have a slight shake while foot is rested on brake and still in the drive(D) posistion, if i change into neutral(N) or park(P) seems to go away which makes me think it could be the transmission. Car seems to be running pretty good apart from this annoying problem. Vehicle is a 1996 328i Thanks

In one forum.?? is it realy a big deal Anways I got a similar car to yours and had a bit of idle viabrations before, for me it was a problem with vanos, but agreed with Glenn... you won't no untill it's scanned, unless you've had the problem b4 and therefore no what it is.
