martyyn 2 Report post Posted May 24, 2009 Someone 'new' to Trademe pushes the price up at the start of the auction until the counter bidding stops with days to go. Finally, still with a day to go, the 'bid' is beaten by a single bid. There is still no action on the last day but only an hour after the auction finishes, the item is 'offered' for less money. Sound suspicious or is this normal TM practice?

Sound suspicious or is this normal TM practice? Seriously. All you need to do is report them through the 'Community Watch' link at the bottom of the page and if they are dodgy they'll be gone quicker than you can blink I've found the Trade Me team are pretty on to it if you report that kinda stuff.
