shadowninja 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2004 Would not knowingly spend money on eminem. I only white rappers I'd spend cash on is the Beastie Boys.
Grant 4 Report post Posted November 10, 2004 While I realise he is just one big marketing machine, he is quite clever and I quite like him. I'll probably get it. Cheers
Guest Spargo Report post Posted November 10, 2004 I would also not willingly blow cash on em. I haven't found any reason to venture past Wu Tang Clan, and off shoots such as Method Man / RZA / Genius/GZA / Ghostface Killa. Modern rap and hip hop is so utterly manufactured in the same way that most of the ZM / Edge play lists are. Nothing made past 95 has interested me from these genres, with a few exceptions. Sic, send me the highlight "trial" tracks to see if i can be persuaded to like it.

Dude you know whats happening. But i swear there is some good new sh*t. English sh*t is good at the mo'. TY, Roots Manoova, the Roots (not uk). Not really Gangata but soulful beats. There's a new WuTang, there's also new 231, (Snoop, Warren G and Nate Dogg). Eminem is mildly talented, but it manufactured pro tools crap. Hey each to his own. Guest Spargo Report post Posted November 10, 2004 Ty is good I agree. Roots Manuva's "Run come save me" was good in places, but i haven't listent to "Dub come save" me yet. I was saddened to see the Roots' - Prenology in the bagain bin the other day, that album was damned good.

Guest Spargo Report post Posted November 11, 2004 Please, you're merely a bogan if all you listen to is metal. Similarly, a wigga if all you listen to is hip hop and rap. Variety is the spice of life :mosh:

m325i 709 Report post Posted November 12, 2004 im on topic, Eminem sux basically. But if your into pop then sweet as. If you are into him you might want to also check out Jay-z, Chingy, Ma$e, or if you wanna get old school on it LL Cool J. There is also wicked lyrical battles between M&M and Chirstina, word up...
