Considering buying my first ever V12.

Aside from the massive running costs and the immediate $10K depreciation, what else do I have to look forward to?

I have heard the performance is so so, to what most people would expect compared to the V8 version

More of a cruiser than a thrilling V12, obviously.

Having said I have never driven one so clearly don't have much say on this.

Though, they are one of my favorite cars of that era, If your good for the money, buy it sir!

Not entirely convinced it's worth $20k $16-17 maybe don't know for sure as I havent looked for 00 plus E38's, best to drive one in your home town first and see if you like and get Jeff Gray in palmy to do an inspection.

ANZA are good honest guys to deal with. They have the BEST motorcycle shop i have been to, so no doubt there cars will be fantastic.

Ive owned both.

Whilst the v8 is a truely great engine, it isnt a patch on the v12! Power, torque, everything is amazing and I wouldnt hesitate to own another one. Its not much quicker than the v8 but the noise once you get above 4k in revs is truely superb.

Do your home work first though, fixing can be expensive if you buy a dud. But get one thats been well looked after and you will have a gem.
