I've always wanted to make it a decent fun car... now that it's no longer my only car (see 500 dollar mitsi magna hahaha) I can just work on it slowly and collect bits that I need. I'd consider pulling it apart and reparing it (minimum needs a new head gasket) But I also think it's got some rod-knock (when you power it down you hear some deep knocks) I think I will just replace the motor...
