isis 16 Report post Posted July 6, 2009 Anyone on here can recommend a shop i've seen "Slammin's site and he's done his work at Cylinder Head Specialists, Glenfield. Any others that's not on the shore? Need to probably inject new life into an ETA block i picked up. Im looking at getting tanked to clean it up. Reboring or sleving it. Pistons could do with a clean up to. Any ideas how much this will cost? or would it be cheaper to tip it into the skip? Cheers

That's strange becuase Hytech Engines just reconditioned my 318 motor about 3 months ago and I didn't have any issues with them at all. Nice engine build blog by the way, It's good to have something to read at work when there's nothing to do

You have made this statement on the forum... but you have never discussed any issues with Mr Richardson from Hitech. I think that is a bit unfair.... I know this from a discussion I've had with him this afternoon Edited August 17, 2009 by *Glenn*

I know this from a discussion I've had with him this afternoon It's a bit of a long story, and as often the case in this sort of situation, each side has different variation of the story.
