laadeelaa 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2009 (edited) Alright. I don't wanna take off the 20's to sell it. I don't think It'd make much difference? You think I should just wait for someone to bite? Or lower the price? After all, it's auto and hasn't got leather seats? Edited July 15, 2009 by MS BM
AzonicNick 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2009 Alright. I don't wanna take off the 20's to sell it. I don't think It'd make much difference? You think I should just wait for someone to bite? Or lower the price? After all, it's auto and hasn't got leather seats? Taking the wheels off and putting the standard wheels make the market of buyers much wider. But I being that low would also be a problem here, jacking it back up probably costs a bit. Maybe just leave it how it is, a bit pointless dumped on standard wheels too, hold out on price for as long as you can. I wouldnt go near a car dumped on wheels like that because i assume it has no service history and has been thrashed and so on.. Good luck with the sale.. Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted July 16, 2009 To give you an idea. My mate and I sold 2 E39's on 20's in the last couple months. Got 9500 for a MINT white 97 520i withbrand new twenties black leather colour coded trim 147 k's and with mirror tints. Got 8300 for a pretty above average grey 523i with mint black leather, bumped on new 20's wth tints and had done just under 150k. Also, got 9800 for a white 728i on 20's, colour coded bla bla bla with black leather. 10200 for an audi a6 on 19's bumped tints bla bla. My old POS E39 which you saw got 6k. Lower your price. Guest Simon* Report post Posted July 16, 2009 There are (after a quick troll through TM) roughly 3 or 4 similar E39's to yours for sale - when I say similar I mean, dumped, chromed, etc and there's a fair bit of interest in each at quite frankly surprising prices. Market it to the "boy-racer" bling loving crowd and see how you get on. Ashkan's success speaks for this method I reckon GL and get it gone
