E30 fl vs pre fl arch differences

Anyone got two side by side?

I need either detailed pics or a good look see.

I wanna see if a body shop can replace the lower FL arches with the higher pre fl items and all the associated internal gubbins.

I can understand, I prefer the pre-fl arches to the FL arches, but not enough to warrant changing them

From having a good look at a facelift vs my ultra slick better looking pre-facelift, I'd say 9cm ± 1cm.
