bmw_guy 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2009 Hi there guys, Here is my situation: Early August ( i think it is around the 10th to the 14th ) I am traveling down to Napier as a part of the Hamilton Boys' High School 1st X1 Hockey team as a video analyst. We have a four day Super 8 Tournament. The team however has everything already paid for in their fees they have paid, inc. accommodation. However for me, i do not pay fees as i am not a player so it will cost me around $3-400. Being a student and part time worker i cannot afford this much right now. So i was wanting to know if anyone in Napier would be able to kindly help out and provide me with a bed for a few nights in August. Any help would be highly appreciated and am happy to pay as long as it is less than $3-400 I understand this may be sound a little cheeky, but i thought this would be an ideal place to find someone who may be able to accommodate for me during my time down in Napier. Please let me know so i can weigh up my options and plan ahead as to what i am doing, accommodation wise. Regards, Brook

Guest Simon* Report post Posted July 22, 2009 Yeah it is. Take 10-15 mins to walk probably, you'd be lucky to get much closer actually 10-14th should be sweet too, if I'm still in this place I'll have a spare room.

bmw_guy 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2009 lol what is that?
DRTDVL 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2009 Beer is the world's oldest[1] and most widely consumed[2] alcoholic beverage and the third most popular drink overall after water and tea.[3] It is produced by the brewing and fermentation of starches, mainly derived from cereal grains—the most common of which is malted barley, although wheat, maize (corn), and rice are widely used. Most beer is flavoured with hops, which add bitterness and act as a natural preservative, though other flavourings such as herbs or fruit may occasionally be included. Some of humanity's earliest known writings refer to the production and distribution of beer: the Code of Hammurabi included laws regulating beer and beer parlours,[4] and "The Hymn to Ninkasi," a prayer to the Mesopotamian goddess of beer, served as both a prayer and as a method of remembering the recipe for beer in a culture with few literate people.[5][6] Today, the brewing industry is a global business, consisting of several dominant multinational companies and many thousands of smaller producers ranging from brewpubs to regional breweries. The basics of brewing beer are shared across national and cultural boundaries and are commonly categorized into two main types — the globally popular pale lagers, and the regionally distinct ales,[7] which are further categorised into other varieties such as pale ale, stout and brown ale. The strength of beer is usually around 4% to 6% alcohol by volume (abv.) though may range from less than 1% abv., to over 20% abv. in rare cases. Beer forms part of the culture of various beer-drinking nations and has acquired various social traditions and associations, such as beer festivals and a rich pub culture involving activities such as pub crawling or pub games such as bar billiards.
